Ottawa Custom Clothing – Business & Art Scholarship

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:

Ottawa Custom Clothing values the connection between art and business and we want to give back to the community. As a result, we are happy to announce an annual scholarship of up to $1000 to a student enrolled in a post-secondary institution who is enrolled in either a Business and or Graphic Arts program, and who has a focus on both fields.

Preference will be given to those students who have not started their first semester or are in their first or second year.

FOCUS:

To apply for this grant, we are requesting video submissions 3-5 minutes in length that detail creative real life case studies of original artwork being used to generate significant sales for an entrepreneur or business.

Inspirations might include sellers on a company like Etsy; Youtube artists, artistic apparel lines, & others, and we encourage creativity in your selection. The primary criteria is that your case study is recent (within the last calendar year), and that it involves someone making money through artwork in an original or interesting way.

At Ottawa Custom Clothing, we truly find it fascinating the way artwork and business intertwine and hope that as a student with a focus on both business and art it sparks an idea which could contribute to your future success.

The deadline for application is 11:59 PM, December 31^st, 2017.

RULES:

All video must be uploaded to YouTube, then submitted to us.

Submissions must be made using the form below or by emailing info@ottawacustomclothing and including your full name, address, email address, college or university and your submission materials in the form of a link to a listed or unlisted YouTube video. A winner will be chosen internally by Ottawa Custom Clothing staff based on the criteria above and announced no later than January 15th, 2017. By submitting a video, students grant Ottawa Custom Clothing the right to re-publish their submission and name on www.OttawaCustomclothing.com and its owned channels including email and social media. Scholarship money will be sent directly to the winner’s school after a bursar bill is sent to us.

The Ottawa Custom Clothing Business & Art  scholarship will be awarded on an annual basis and is only available to those pursuing an education within the United States or Canada.
